ImageToSTL Terms of Service

For new users, this version applies from publication. For existing users, material changes take effect only after the notice period described in Section 14.

1. About these Terms

ImageToSTL.dev is operated by Kerwin, an individual operating in China ("ImageToSTL," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern the website and its image, four-view, 3D-model, texturing, storage, preview, and download features (the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing credits, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. The Service and AI generation

ImageToSTL is a digital software-as-a-service product that converts images or text instructions into four-view reference images and 3D assets. Text instructions can also generate 3D directly.

The generation features currently offer the following models:

Google Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image) and OpenAI GPT Image 1.5, for text-to-image, four-view generation, and image revision;
Meshy 7 and Meshy 6, for multi-image and text-to-3D generation;
Meshy 6 Lite Retexture, for optional model texturing.

Model options and available features appear in the generation interface. Model availability, safety controls, and processing characteristics may affect generation times and results. Models and versions may be updated, replaced, or retired; we update this description when available models materially change.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable for fabrication. Before printing, selling, or relying on outputs, inspect dimensions, wall thickness, supports, geometry, intellectual-property clearance, and physical safety.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and promptly report unauthorized access to support@imagetostl.dev. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.

You may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting an account does not erase transaction records that we must retain for fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, or other legal obligations.

4. Your inputs and generated outputs

You retain your existing rights in submitted images, prompts, instructions, and other materials, and represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process them, including consent from identifiable people where required.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, and process inputs solely to provide your requested services, maintain security, and handle support requests. This license ends when the data is deleted, except for limited backups and legally required records. ImageToSTL does not use your inputs or outputs to train AI models without your separate, explicit consent. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

As between you and ImageToSTL, you own any output rights that may legally vest in you; we do not claim ownership merely by providing generation services. This does not guarantee copyright protection, uniqueness, or freedom from third-party rights. Plans provide these permitted uses:

Free trial and Hobby: personal, non-commercial use;
Creator: commercial use of generated outputs;
Studio: commercial use and resale of generated outputs or printed items.

These permissions do not grant rights in third-party trademarks, works, likenesses, or other protected materials. Output-use permissions lawfully acquired do not automatically end when your subscription expires. Full model preview or downloading again from the Service remains subject to the active-subscription and file-availability conditions in Section 6.

5. Acceptable use and content safety

You may not use the Service to create, upload, transform, or distribute:

pornography or NSFW content, including explicit sexual material or non-consensual intimate imagery;
graphic violence or gore, credible threats, instructions to cause serious harm, or material that glorifies violent wrongdoing;
hate content or harassment that attacks, dehumanizes, or promotes discrimination or violence against protected people or groups;
child-unsafe content, including any sexualized, exploitative, grooming, abusive, or otherwise harmful depiction of a minor, and any child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
deceptive deepfakes or impersonation, including content that misleadingly presents a real person as saying, doing, or endorsing something without authorization; or
copyright or trademark infringement, counterfeit goods, unauthorized replicas, or other material that violates intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or likeness rights.

You also may not use the Service for unlawful activity, fraud, malware, evasion of safety controls, terrorism or extremist propaganda, mass-violence support, or any attempt to discover, exploit, or disrupt the Service. We apply zero tolerance to CSAM, sexual exploitation of minors, credible violent threats, and non-consensual sexual deepfakes.

Inputs and outputs may undergo automated safety screening. Flagged or reported material may be reviewed by an authorized human reviewer, and we periodically review these rules and enforcement signals. We may reject a generation, remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend or terminate an account, preserve evidence, or report conduct to relevant authorities when reasonably necessary. Credits charged for a generation rejected by automated safety review are returned unless abuse, fraud, or repeated attempts to bypass safety systems are involved.

Report suspected violations to support@imagetostl.dev with the subject Content Safety Report and include the relevant project or job ID, a description of the issue, and supporting evidence where available. We will review reports, take proportionate action, and may ask for more information. You may use the same channel to appeal an enforcement decision.

You may not resell the Service or account access, scrape platform data in bulk without authorization, or use outputs to train models competing with the relevant AI providers. Lawful use or resale of generated assets remains subject to Section 4. Do not represent AI outputs as having obtained medical, legal, engineering-safety, or other professional certification.

6. Credits, free trials, and model access

Credits are used for paid generation operations. They are not money, cannot be transferred between accounts, and have no cash value except where these Terms or applicable law provide a refund.

Subscription credits are issued monthly, including for annual subscriptions, and expire at the end of each monthly entitlement period without rollover.
Separately purchased top-up credits can be used for generation without an active subscription and remain available while the account is active. A credit pack does not independently unlock full 3D preview or downloads.
Credits are consumed from the earliest-expiring lots first, with earlier-issued lots first when expiry dates match. Non-expiring top-up credits are consumed after credits with an expiry date.
Registration provides 20 promotional credits, normally expiring one year after issue, for one standard four-view and 3D generation trial. Free trials provide model image previews.
Generating or revising four views costs 5 credits per run; standard 3D costs 15 credits per run. High precision and texturing each add 5 credits. The cost appears before submission; other features follow the interface disclosure.
Full 3D preview and model-file downloads require a currently active Hobby, Creator, or Studio subscription. Canceling renewal preserves access until the paid period ends; expiry suspends full model access and downloads. Resubscribing restores access to files still within their availability period.
History, version switching, and subscriber downloads of available models use no additional credits. Files are not hosted permanently: GLB is normally available for 90 days, while other formats may have a shorter availability period. Follow the availability shown in the interface.
Failed generations, processing failures, safety rejections, or damaged files caused by the Service return affected credits when confirmed by our systems.

You must not register accounts in bulk, automate promotional-credit claims, or bypass subscription access rules. We may restrict abuse under Section 5, without limiting statutory consumer rights.

7. Subscriptions, top-ups, and recurring billing

Prices, credits, and features appear on our Pricing page and at checkout. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Subscribing authorizes our payment partner, Waffo Pancake, to charge the displayed subscription fee each billing interval. Annual plans are charged once per year with credits issued monthly.

Each top-up is a one-time purchase. Confirming checkout authorizes the displayed amount and taxes. A top-up does not itself enable recurring billing or automatic top-ups.

To cancel, sign in, open My Orders, select Manage Billing next to your subscription, and follow Waffo's customer billing portal instructions. You may also email support@imagetostl.dev from your registered address. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid-period entitlements remain until expiry. Separately purchased top-up credits keep their generation uses and validity, while downloads remain subject to Section 6.

Waffo Pancake and its payment partners process card information. ImageToSTL does not store complete card numbers or security codes.

8. Refund policy

In addition to non-excludable statutory rights, these rules apply, with deadlines calculated from the relevant payment:

Completing generation or another paid operation with that purchase's credits, or using full 3D preview, downloads, commercial licenses, or other entitlements associated with that subscription payment constitutes use. Once the full model has been delivered, the subscription is not unused even if its credits remain unspent. Credits fully returned for failed generation and reversed entitlement records do not independently disqualify a purchase. Using unrelated promotional credits does not by itself constitute use of that purchase.

Verified duplicate or incorrect charges receive a full refund. Failed generation or damaged files return affected credits; inability to repair or deliver paid services qualifies for an appropriate monetary refund. If an outage caused by us continuously prevents core paid services for more than 72 hours, we provide a refund or extension appropriate to the affected paid period.

Email support@imagetostl.dev from your registered address with your order number and reason. We respond to billing disputes and refund requests within 2 business days, and handle corrections within 5 business days after confirming an error. Approved refunds are submitted to the original payment method within 5–10 business days; receipt depends on the payment provider.

After the unused-purchase windows above, partial refunds for unused months or remaining credits are normally unavailable. This does not restrict refunds for incorrect charges, inability to deliver, extended outages, permanent termination without your breach under Section 11, or statutory refund or withdrawal rights.

9. Intellectual property and platform rights

The ImageToSTL website, software, interface, branding, documentation, and underlying platform components are owned by or licensed to the operator of ImageToSTL.dev. Except for the limited right to use the Service, no platform intellectual-property rights are transferred to you.

If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your copyright, trademark, likeness, or privacy rights, email support@imagetostl.dev with enough information to identify the work, the disputed content, your authority, and your requested action.

10. Availability and changes

We may update features, models, credit costs, or plan offerings. Changes do not alter an already completed one-time purchase. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material subscription price changes, and the new price will apply no earlier than the next renewal stated in that notice.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, security incidents, internet conditions, or disruptions to supporting services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every generation will succeed.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, payment abuse, bypassing safety controls, unlawful activity, or risks to users and third parties. Where appropriate, we provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. Serious child-safety, violent-threat, fraud, or unlawful conduct may receive immediate action.

If we permanently discontinue the Service or close your account without a breach by you, we refund fees corresponding to the unprovided subscription period and the purchase amount corresponding to unused top-up credits. Non-excludable statutory refund and consumer rights also remain available where an account is terminated for a violation.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to ImageToSTL during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss where such limitation is lawful.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without limiting non-excludable consumer-protection, data-protection, or other mandatory rights where you live. You may contact support@imagetostl.dev to seek resolution. This does not restrict seeking relief from a court with lawful jurisdiction, consumer-protection body, or regulator.

14. Changes and contact

We announce material changes through the Service or your registered email at least 15 days before they take effect, except for changes needed urgently for legal or security requirements, with notice as soon as practicable. You may stop using the Service and cancel renewal before a change takes effect. Material subscription price changes follow Section 10, with at least 15 days' notice.
